The distribution company Kleiber+Co. GmbH was established in 1958. From the humblest roots, we have transformed into a modern, global company in the last decades. Kleiber+Co. KG started the production of haberdashery and fashion in 1961. The first catalogue of haberdashery was published a few years later in 1969.
As an innovative, cosmopolitan company, the firm quickly recognized the opportunities of a global market. This led to Kleiber Sales Service GmbH being established in 1999, specializing in the non-food domain. This was followed by further far-east subsidiaries in Hongkong and Shenzhen.
The joint office in Wigglis, Röthenbach in Allgäu was built in 1999 to optimize synergies of both companies. Its 50th anniversary was celebrated there in 2008.
